About The Position

This position provides support for continuous training of forklift operators and assists with all warehouse operations. Schedule: Wednesday-Saturday Shift: 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM Pay: $22.00 Duties and Responsibilities: Promote and demonstrate forklift procedures and assist with the development of forklift operators during their shift. Assist in the development, preparation and delivery of food safety, safety, and warehouse operations training. Conducts training and testing of department personnel on safety and forklift operations Report safety, sanitation, forklift operation, and process issues to the Warehouse Lead and immediately coach forklift operators as these issues happen. Assist with warehouse operations as directed by the Warehouse Lead and communicate with other departments when assistance is needed Promote all company safety, food safety, and employee policies and procedures and participate in departmental Safety and Food Safety audits Ensure that all packaging supplies and finished goods are rotated and consolidated. Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
  • 3+ years’ experience operating a forklift
  • Must have experience adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
  • Qualified candidates must be able to perform the following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation: Must be able to climb on and off a ladder for 3+ hours per shift Must be able to work in a dusty, high heat/humid environment for 3+ hours per shift Must be able to work in a confined space for 3+ hours per shift Must be able to lift up-to 100 pounds for 3+ hours per shift with team member assistance Must be able to push, pull, simple grasping, 3+ hours per shift Must be able to perform fine manipulation and feel for 6+ hours per shift Must be able to balance, bend, crouch, stoop and kneel for 3+ hours per shift Must be able to lift up-to 34 pounds independently for 6+ hours per shift Must be able to reach above shoulders for 3+ hours per shift Must be able to operate foot pedals for 6+ hours per shift Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for 6+ hours per shift Must be able to express or exchange ideas by means of spoken or written word and be able to make fine distinctions in sound Must be able to distinguish object or equipment visually

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing facility
  • Must be able to operate the Aerial lift when needed
  • Must be able to handle multiple priorities with professionalism in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining safety and quality
  • Previous leadership; ability to lead, direct and motivate others as necessary
