Iron Mountain is seeking a skilled Operations Team Lead to join their Warehouse & Logistics team. This critical role involves managing the daily operations of the Logistics Center in a cost-effective way, ensuring both internal and external customer needs are met. The ideal candidate will be a leader who fosters a productive and efficient environment, directly contributing to their ability to satisfy customer demands.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of proven leadership experience within a warehouse or logistics environment, specifically in fulfillment or e-commerce operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and skills in monitoring daily production goals and dynamically adjusting strategies to meet KPIs.
  • Physical requirements to lift at least 40 lbs, with frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping as required for the role.

  • Forklift certificate is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operational flow by overseeing incoming and outgoing shipments, meticulously organizing merchandise, and maintaining accurate warehouse inventory.
  • Collaborate with team members and the Operations Supervisor to foster positive employee relations, provide comprehensive training, and escalate employee issues as necessary to maintain open communication.
  • Ensure productivity, quality, and compliance by providing mentorship, monitoring team performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and preparing detailed operational reports to inform decision-making.
