SummarySupport sales staff by receiving product, pull orders, pack orders, ship orders, load and unload trucks, count inventory, pull outdates by performing the following duties.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months related experience and/or training in a warehouse environment
- Basic knowledge of computer systems (Internet, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, or facilities with systems)
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Excellent organizational, oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Valid Driver’s License
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and on occasion move up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities
- Pulls orders.
- Conveys materials and items from receiving areas to be shipped or loaded into customer vehicles and trucks.
- Fills or requests for product or other stock items and distributes items to be shipped.
- Packaging boxes for shipping.
- Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves.
- Unpacks boxes for receiving.
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Sorts and stores perishable goods in refrigerated rooms.
- Shipping/Receiving.
- Opens bales, crates, and other containers.
- Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Drives forklift and/or vehicle to transport items from warehouse to store.
- Count inventory.
- Maintains inventory records.
- Pull outdates.
- (Product that has expired.)
- Data entry/addressing boxes.
- Marks materials with identifying information.
- Prepares parcels for mailing.
