The Warehouse Operations Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the work of staff to ensure alignment with organizational requirements. This role involves leading, training, and mentoring warehouse associates to maintain a positive and productive work environment. The supervisor will supervise day-to-day warehouse activities, including picking, packing, inventory management, and order fulfillment, while implementing schedule and policy changes as needed. Performance monitoring is crucial, as the supervisor will track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall warehouse performance. Quality control is also a key responsibility, ensuring all operations comply with quality standards and customer requirements, and addressing quality issues promptly. The supervisor will prepare and present regular reports on warehouse operations, manage Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), coordinate freight and logistics management, enforce safety protocols, and maintain food grade compliance in the warehouse environment.
