About The Position

We are seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a small warehouse team and support daily distribution operations. This role is responsible for supervising employees, maintaining productivity and safety standards, and ensuring efficient movement of inventory through receiving, stocking, and shipping processes. The ideal candidate will have leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics environments and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on role.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant warehouse, distribution, or operations experience
  • Previous team lead or supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to motivate and manage a small team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse systems
  • Ability to work flexible hours or overtime when needed
  • Valid driver’s license may be required
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift up to 65–80 lbs with proper equipment or team lifting
  • Ability to climb ladders or stairs when required
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with moderate noise levels
  • Must wear required safety equipment such as steel/composite toe boots and safety vest

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of warehouse associates to meet daily operational goals
  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and recognition to team members
  • Assist with interviewing, hiring, and training new employees
  • Promote and enforce workplace safety standards and policies
  • Conduct team meetings and communicate policies, procedures, and productivity expectations
  • Support process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency
  • Ensure accurate receiving, stocking, and inventory control
  • Verify incoming products for accuracy and completeness
  • Stock materials in the appropriate warehouse locations
  • Pick products for deliveries and shipments
  • Load trucks efficiently while ensuring product safety
  • Inspect and process returned merchandise
  • Restock returned inventory in appropriate locations
  • Manage vendor return shipments and related documentation
  • Assist with unloading customer or internal transfers
  • Operate powered warehouse equipment such as forklifts
  • May serve as backup driver when needed
