Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5 years of previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role.
  • Previous experience with technical assembly preferred.
  • High mechanical aptitude.
  • High computer system application literacy including Microsoft 365 and ability to learn new business applications quickly.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Sound decision-making ability.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in shipping and receiving tasks, managing the shipment and receipt of products, materials, and supplies.
  • Track, trace, and update the status of outgoing shipments.
  • Maintain an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to transport products.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety regulations and protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate shipping logistics and prioritize orders.
  • Pick shop orders in advance for assemblers, verifying accuracy of drawings and test reports.
  • Communicate with Production to resolve issues before picking items.
  • Create tags for shop orders and generate pick lists, ensuring proper staging of items.
  • Conduct cross-checks to maintain the integrity of the assembly process.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Warehouse Technicians, management, and Production.
  • Collaborate with Technicians, shippers, and receivers to manage priority changes.
  • Assist Technicians with non-critical builds, following assembly instructions and quality standards.
  • Support in setting up workstations and organizing materials for assembly processes.
  • Inspect assembled products for accuracy and quality before finalization.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and resolving assembly-related issues.
