Responsibilities
- Prepares orders by processing and distributing requests for supplies
- Packing Materials and placing orders in the delivery area
- Completes deliveries by driving a truck or van to and from other company locations
- Maintains inventory control
- Maintains quality service by following organization standards
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Completes reports by entering the required information
- Operates a forklift as required
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred
- 1-2 years of light industrial or material control experience preferred
- Teamwork, Coordination, Organization, Planning, Time Management, Reporting Skills, Inventory Control, Documentation Skills, Equipment Maintenance, Data Entry Skills, Dependability
- Basic computer skills including e-mail are required, MS Office skills are preferred
- Individual must be able to learn specific program requirements for inventory and database maintenance
