About The Position

The Warehouse Operations Specialist, Junior will perform the activities of warehouse and internal supply chain to assist in the manufacturing and assembly of various products per established facility processes. This includes receiving, part put-a-way, part picking, part issue, receiving inspection, and shipping to support production operations. The role requires skills in inventory management, forklift operation, mil spec packaging, and the operation of various material handling equipment and tools. The specialist will contribute new knowledge to programs and projects, make recommendations for new procedures, and work independently within established procedures and practices while leading tasks and informally mentoring others.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations.
• Experience in shipping and receiving practices.
• Knowledge of inventory control practices.
• Familiarity with inventory transactions in computer-based systems, including SAP and Oracle.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment, including a forklift.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and work independently with little guidance.
• Ability to operate computers and warehouse management software.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• High School diploma or GED.
