About The Position

JASPER, the nation’s largest re-manufacturer of engines and transmissions, is seeking a motivated individual for a Warehouse Operations Manager position at one of its 50+ branch locations. This role is primarily involved in the daily operations of a small distribution center, including inventory management, product distribution, and customer service. A portion of the time will also be dedicated to product delivery, involving loading, unloading, and driving a 20-24’ box truck to customers while maintaining a high level of customer service and adhering to DOT regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be detail-oriented, organized, energetic, and motivated.

Requirements

  • Ability to use Excel, Outlook, Teams and other software programs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily business of a small distribution center, including inventory and branch supplies, distribution of product, and customer service.
  • Conduct interviews for drivers and warehouse support candidates to assist in the recruiting process.
  • Supervise and provide training to branch employees.
  • Perform bank deposits and other basic accounting duties.
  • Drive a forklift (training provided).
  • Utilize Excel, Outlook, Teams, and other software programs.
  • Follow DOT rules and regulations for both warehouse operations and product delivery.
  • Load, unload, and drive a 20-24’ box truck.
  • Ensure safe and timely delivery to customers with a high level of customer service.
  • Conduct thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
  • Maintain a clean, professional image of self and vehicle.
