About The Position

Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our Warehouse & Logistics team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the 3PL (Third Party Logistics) business, including warehousing, transportation, order fulfillment, and inventory management. This role demands a balance of strategic thinking, leadership, operational expertise, and financial acumen to ensure the successful and profitable delivery of 3PL services. You will report directly to the General Manager.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5–10 years of experience in warehouse or logistics leadership, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), financial oversight (including budgeting and P&L responsibility), and managing client expectations and satisfaction.
  • Proven ability to lead complex operations, meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and effectively resolve conflicts and manage team dynamics.
  • Physical requirements lifting at least 40 lbs, with a willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed, in environments with varying temperatures and noise levels.
  • Frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors preferred, along with professional certifications like Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Lean Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop large, diverse teams, including Supervisors, warehouse staff, drivers, and customer service teams, ensuring high productivity and efficient execution.
  • Ensure operational excellence by commanding day-to-day functions—inventory control, order fulfillment, and logistics—while applying process improvement methodologies (like Lean or Six Sigma) to optimize workflows and reduce inefficiencies.
  • Manage financial and compliance performance by overseeing the Profit & Loss (P&L) for the operations unit, analyzing key performance metrics, and mitigating operational risks and safety regulations.
  • Handles customer inquiries about orders, shipments, or inventory.
