About The Position

LionHeart is the nation’s most sought-after Critical Power Specialists. We help organizations keep their backup power systems, including generators, transfer switches, fire pump engines, and more, ready when it matters most. Our clients include hospitals, manufacturers, data centers, and public safety organizations across the Midwest and beyond. The Warehouse Operations Coordinator will support the launch and daily operations of our new Indianapolis warehouse. This role is critical to ensuring our field service team has the parts, equipment, and support they need to operate efficiently. This is a dynamic position combining warehouse operations, shop maintenance, inventory tracking, and administrative support. The ideal candidate enjoys physical work, takes pride in organization, and can seamlessly shift between the shop floor and computer-based tasks like tracking inventory and updating work orders using our software.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of warehouse or similar hands-on experience
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to anticipate parts and specialty tools required for field service maintenance and repairs
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
  • Ability to tow trailers (or willingness to learn)
  • Forklift experience preferred (certification provided)
  • Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills (inventory systems, work orders, email)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and stay organized
  • Ability to stand and work for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularly
  • Ability to move equipment, tools, and materials over long distances

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift experience preferred (certification provided)

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and organizing warehouse
  • Receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming parts and equipment
  • Kitting and staging materials for Field Service Engineers
  • Loading and unloading equipment, tools, and supplies
  • Transporting parts and materials to job sites and storage locations
  • Coordinating with vendors and carriers for shipments and deliveries
  • Operating a forklift (or completing certification training upon hire)
  • Assisting with work order creation and tracking
  • Maintaining accurate inventory levels and order status
  • Supporting purchasing and inventory processes
