About The Position

Warehouse Night Selector (Full-Time) Location: Woonsocket, RI Pay: $20.00 /hour (+ Overtime) Schedule: Starts at 7:00PM until completion of job. Sunday - Thursday // Monday - Friday Essential Duties and Responsibilities Hand select orders using a voice activated system, within various warehouse environments of fluctuating temperatures, including dry, cooler and freezer. Stack product on pallets following proper selecting procedures (for example, no stacking heavy product on light product, labels facing out, adhering to food safety principles, etc.) Operate an electric pallet jack, or other powered industrial equipment, to transport products. Stage pallets for loading on proper dock locations. Maintain and safely operate all assigned equipment including, but not limited to, powered industrial equipment, voice headsets, and personal protective equipment. Perform pre-trip inspections, and safely operate all powered industrial equipment. Shrink-wrap product on the loading dock. Adhere to all safety practices and company policies and food safety principles. Immediately advise supervisor of any unsafe conditions. Attend all required company meetings. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Warehouse experience and equipment operation preferred
  • Basic math and English reading/writing skills required
  • Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs (occasionally up to 100 lbs), and work on your feet throughout shift
  • Ability to bend, twist, reach, and stack product up to 72 inches
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal instructions
  • Must be a team player, fast-paced, organized, and safety-focused
  • Available to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and overtime
