Steinhafels Furniture has an immediate opening for a full-time, 1st shift mattress assembler at our bedding factory in New Berlin. This position involves operating machinery for mattress and box spring assembly. Steinhafels, founded in 1934, is an employee-owned, family-run company. Requirements

• This position requires frequent lifting, carrying and pushing/pulling.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Must have the ability to use various power tools for assembly purposes.
• Good attendance and punctuality required

Responsibilities

• Gluing mattress foam layers
• Assemble springs, foam and upholstery materials into mattresses
• Operation of spray glue workstation
• Mattress innerspring preparation
• Foundation upholstery and stapling
• Material handling
• General factory clean up
