About The Position

Material Handler is responsible for the movement, storage, and organization of materials within the warehouse which includes load, unload, and transport materials using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Ensure safe and efficient movement of goods between warehouse storage location to production/manufacturing areas in a timely manner. Role requires lifting heavy loads up to 50 lbs. Schedule: Day Shift - Monday - Thursday 5.00 am to 3.00 pm

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 6 months of experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or general labor is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Familiarity with using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
  • Committed to following safety guidelines and wearing required PPE.
  • Dependable with regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
  • Ability to maintain a clean, organized warehouse (5S principles).
  • Team-oriented with a proactive approach to assisting others and improving processes.

Responsibilities

  • Safely load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
  • Organize and store materials in designated warehouse areas.
  • Follow all safety requirements, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Meet daily warehouse task targets and standards.
  • Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, or materials to the supervisor and/or manager.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse following 5S principles.
  • Provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Attend department meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • All other duties as assigned.
