About The Position

Ledcor's Technical Division (LTS) is seeking an experienced, multi-serviced, self-motivated Warehouse Material Handler to conduct all day to day activities within the warehouse facility. The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for daily flow of material including accurate shipping, receiving and inventory control.

Requirements

• One to two years of construction industry experience
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment where needs change based on customer demands
• Experience in establishing relationships with various levels of an organization
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Forklift Operator Certification an asset
• Warehouse experience preferably in high volume environment
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Proven computer skills - must be intermediate to advanced user of Excel and other Microsoft products
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Verification of incoming and outgoing materials
• Shipping and receiving support
• Operation of forklift as required
• Lifting heavy items up to 40 lbs
• Inventory control and order selection
• Assisting technicians with loading material
• Assist in warehouse safety, cleanliness and waste disposal
• Build and maintain relationships with our field technicians ensuring we are meeting the warehousing demands of staff
• Experience with inventory tracking systems as well as procedures for handling all inbound and outbound stock
• Experience with auditing processes that include all operational aspects with specific focus on process compliance, assets protection, security, quality control and labor utilization
