About The Position

This position participates in all Supply Chain Center (SCC) Fulfillment Center activities including stocking, picking, packing, and shipping medical products in compliance with Intermountain Healthcare's governing processes, procedures, outlined training practices, and employee safety practices. This position also participates in maintaining warehouse cleanliness, maintaining warehouse equipment, team and individual continuous improvement activities, and education.

Requirements

• Six months experience in a customer service or logistics position.
• Demonstrated effective communication, problem solving, and basic math skills.
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Experience using internet and email applications.
• Demonstrated ability to practice safe work behaviors.
• Demonstrates an interest in personal learning, growth, and development.

Nice To Haves

• Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Experience using Intermountain Healthcare's Fulfillment Center's Management System (WNS).
• Work experience in a Lean Six Sigma environment.

Responsibilities

• Handles and stocks product as directed to the appropriate assigned locations while maintaining inventory integrity.
• Follows outlined procedures in picking orders within SCC operations.
• Responsible for packing, labeling, and loading the appropriate forms of transportation.
• Effectively communicates with all members of the team or peers to achieve team goals and SCC Fulfillment Center objectives.
• Helps maintain a safe and clean work environment and maintain equipment.
• Participates on various teams such as Lean Six Sigma projects and green projects.
• Uses safe practices at all times, respecting safety equipment and handling materials according to safety requirements.
