More information is available on our website https://www.sswtechnologies.com/ [https://www.sswtechnologies.com/] This position works with their respective department directly to the Shift Supervisor for the purpose of Moving wire stock and/or finished goods with forklift to designated area in order to keep the flow of material moving. Warehouse operators will also load and unload trucks.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Must have forklift experience, prefer in a warehouse environment
  • Must have basic math skills
  • Must have verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to follow directions accurately
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality

Responsibilities

  • Perform all duties in a safe manner
  • Interact in a professional manner with other employees/customers
  • Work overtime as necessary
  • Perform operations assigned by Supervisor in accordance with Work Instructions provided for each line/operation
  • Must be capable of handling heavy loads and driving mechanical equipment such as forklifts due to the necessary transferring around to various types of jobs
  • Must move, manipulate, modify and / or assemble the materials to produce subassemblies or finished product from raw materials
  • Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues
  • Conduct final inspection to assure quality of pack and proper count
  • Complete assembly of carton, i.e.: corner post, top, etc. Band as required to satisfy customer specifications
  • Fill out log sheets documenting part numbers and quantities to be transported
  • Must operate forklift and place packaged goods into inventory, and load and/or unload trucks
  • Must sort and dispose of rework, scrap or returned goods including necessary paper work, scrap reports, or required daily documentation
  • Notify maintenance department, Technical Services Technician and Supervisor of any process problems and fill out necessary work orders as needed
  • Must wear all proper safety equipment required for each operation
  • Must attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages
  • Must use manual tools as instructed to perform work
  • Must maintain a clean and safe work area per area 5S procedures
  • May be required to operate computerized label printer and affix labels on correct pallets
  • May be required to load, unload, and monitor the burn off ovens, as well as conduct a final cleaning of materials
  • May be exposed to UV Light in Nano Department
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Help out as a regular production team member as needed from time to time.
