About The Position

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., is an industry leader in the distribution of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants to independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships. This position is for a Warehouse Material Handler, responsible for handling materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The schedule is Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm with rotating Saturdays, and may require overtime based on business needs. The role involves operating industrial vehicles like forklifts or picker equipment, using scanners for inventory control, and performing physical tasks such as lifting and pushing.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older to operate equipment
  • 1 year of warehouse/logistics or relevant experience
  • Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds
  • Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds - working with barrels and industrial/agricultural tires
  • Ability to work at heights of 25 feet while operating equipment and maintaining safety standards
  • Abide by all Company safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations and manufacturing guidelines
  • Ability to pass forklift certification
  • Willing to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (do not test for THC / marijuana)
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and must not require U.S. Venture’s sponsorship to continue to work legally in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, stock tires and auto parts in a fast-paced warehouse environment using industrial vehicles such as a forklift or picker equipment
  • Use scanners to find and put away tires and assist with inventory control
  • Lift 50 pounds consistently throughout your shift and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds
  • Perform team lifts or use mechanical equipment when lifting commercial tires
  • Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires
  • Work at heights of 25 feet safely while operating equipment
  • Work on your feet for extended periods of time and work overtime as needed
  • Contribute to our culture of safety, ensuring adherence to all safety policies and operating procedures
  • May assist other departments, such as ecomm, inventory, and will call depending on business needs
  • Perform other job-related tasks and follow any job-related instructions given by their supervisor, subject to reasonable accommodations
