About The Position

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., is an industry leader in the distribution of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants. This position is for a Warehouse Material Handler responsible for loading, unloading, and stocking tires and auto parts in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role involves using industrial vehicles such as a forklift or picker equipment, utilizing scanners for inventory control, and adhering to all safety policies and operating procedures. The schedule for this position is Sunday 11am-7:30pm and Monday-Thursday 2pm-10:30pm with rotating Saturdays, and may require overtime based on business needs.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older to operate equipment
• 1 year of warehouse/logistics or relevant experience
• Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds
• Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds - working with barrels and industrial/agricultural tires
• Ability to work at heights of 25 feet while operating equipment and maintaining safety standards
• Abide by all Company safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations and manufacturing guidelines
• Ability to pass forklift certification
• Willing to work overtime as needed
• Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (do not test for THC / marijuana)

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, stock tires and auto parts in a fast-paced warehouse environment using industrial vehicles such as a forklift or picker equipment
• Use scanners to find and put away tires and assist with inventory control
• Lift 50 pounds consistently throughout your shift and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds
• Perform team lifts or use mechanical equipment when lifting commercial tires
• Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires
• Work at heights safely while operating equipment on stock racks up to 25 feet tall
• Work on your feet for extended periods of time and work overtime as needed
• Contribute to our culture of safety, ensuring adherence to all safety policies and operating procedures
• May assist other departments, such as ecomm, inventory, and will call depending on business needs
