Warehouse / Material Handler - 1st Shift
About The Position
TempToFT Warehouse / Material Handler - Day Shift Temp to Hire RESPONSIBILITIES: Pull finished product from inventory, assemble orders, and prepare for shipment in accordance with company policy and customer requests. Select, pack, and wrap products to be shipped. Receive inbound material including finished product from other locations, operating supplies and equipment and transfer to appropriate storage locations. Operate forklifts to load and unload trucks and transport materials between locations in the warehouse. Count and examine materials, supplies, finished product, etc. to verify completeness against appropriate documents; checks for damaged materials; maintains records of shortages, damages, and other exceptions. Use bar code scanner to achieve inventory accuracy. Maintain work location in excellent condition to comply with company policies for safety and housekeeping. Perform cycle counts and other inventory verification as required. Other duties which may be assigned by the Manager Deliver raw materials to production via warehouse management system Qualifications/Experience/Education: High school diploma or GED required 2+ years recent shipping/receiving experience in a warehouse required. 2+ years forklift operation experience required. Able to read, write and comprehend documents in English. Ability to meet certification requirements following company training program in forklift operation Able to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly throughout work shift Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships; ability to motivate and direct the work of others. Able to work shift schedule where opening exists. SCHEDULE/SHIFT: Days, Monday - Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm with overtime if/as needed. PAY RATE: $23.00 per hour LOCATION: Located in Brighton near Hwy 85 and 104th Ave Drug screen required (THC Not Tested for pre-employment) Criminal Background Check required - reviewing past 7 years - no crimes of theft, violence, or drugs allowed. Must pass a Full Physical and Respirator Fit Test
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2+ years recent shipping/receiving experience in a warehouse required.
- 2+ years forklift operation experience required.
- Able to read, write and comprehend documents in English.
- Ability to meet certification requirements following company training program in forklift operation
- Able to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly throughout work shift
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships; ability to motivate and direct the work of others.
- Able to work shift schedule where opening exists.
- Drug screen required (THC Not Tested for pre-employment)
- Criminal Background Check required - reviewing past 7 years - no crimes of theft, violence, or drugs allowed.
- Must pass a Full Physical and Respirator Fit Test
