About The Position

Cadillac Coffee Company's Shipping and Receiving team prides itself on efficiency, accuracy, and exceptional work ethic. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Warehouse Material Handler to join our first shift. The ideal candidate will be capable of self-management and possess a strong sense of responsibility.

Requirements

  • Two years warehouse experience preferred.
  • One year operating forklift/commercial vehicles preferred. Cadillac Coffee Company will provide forklift operations course for certification.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Good communication skills; able to effectively collaborate with team members.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems preferred.
  • Candidate must be able to lift up to 50lbs, pass a physical and drug screen and undergo a background check.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

  • Pull orders accurately.
  • Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming product.
  • Clean facility (sweeping floors, taking out garbage, etc.) and follow sanitation SOPs.
  • Safely and efficiently transport materials to designated storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment. Forklift and electronic pallet jack driving will be an important part of the job.
  • Work with Shipping and Receiving Supervisor to ensure warehouse hours of operation are covered. Available to work overtime if required to cover hours of operation.
  • Develop an advanced knowledge of the warehouse layout, product locations, and product recognition.
  • Punctuality and dependability.
  • Prepare product for shipment; ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proper marking.
  • Collaborate with team members and departments,
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized to minimize hazards.
  • Comply with Cadillac Coffee company policies and adhere to food safety objectives. Work to uphold Cadillac Coffee’s food safety and quality system (SQF).
  • Learn our inventory management system (Acctivate) to assist with work tasks.
  • Put away, organize, and label inventory product.
  • Assist in physical inventory counts.
