About The Position
As a Warehouse Material Handler at Graybar, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are efficiently received, stored, selected, packed, and shipped within our warehouse. This position requires the use of a Warehouse Management System, which means that a certain level of technological proficiency is necessary to perform your duties effectively. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts. You will receive and store incoming materials in accordance with our warehouse management system processes, ensuring that all items are accurately accounted for. Additionally, you will select, pack, and palletize shipments, sort and pack less-than-truckload shipments, and conduct cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy. A clean and safe warehouse environment is paramount, and you will be expected to follow all safety procedures and perform daily safety inspections to uphold these standards. This position is full-time and requires a commitment to working the night shift from 10:30 PM to 7:30 AM. The expected pay rate for this position starts at $17.20 and can go up to $22.98 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
