About The Position

The primary role of the Warehouse Manager is to manage the Warehouse Supervisors and their teams. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all aspects of warehouse operations in a radio frequency (RF)-enabled or non-RF-enabled environment, managing warehouse personnel and ensuring compliance with company, federal and state regulations regarding safety while working with controlled substances, pharmaceuticals, and hazardous and flammable materials. This position is categorized as compliance critical and, as such, requires specific responsibility for ensuring continual and proper compliance with all division, corporate and regulatory requirements. This is a Day shift, but please note, flexibility in schedule will be required based on business needs, this can include working different hours or days. This position is located onsite at our facility in Sugar Land, Texas. There is no option for remote or hybrid work.

Requirements

  • Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Requires 5+ years directly related and progressively responsible experience, including 2+ years at a supervisory level.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with distribution center associates.
  • Must be willing to work extended hours and participate in weekend on-call rotation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Good negotiating skills.
  • Good decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and systems, engineered standards and regulatory compliance matters.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Knowledge of computers to operate effectively in Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Warehouse Supervisors and their teams.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of warehouse operations.
  • Ensure compliance with company, federal and state regulations regarding safety.
  • Track attendance, coach and lead associates for employee growth and development.
  • Monitor performance and manage overtime and compensation changes.
  • Direct warehouse activities for efficient utilization of facilities.
  • Maintain process management, productivity measures, and quality controls.
  • Review, track, and analyze critical success measures.
  • Develop and plan for improvement in areas such as order filling errors and late deliveries.
  • Respond to production problems by implementing solutions.
  • Enforce compliance with policies, procedures, and government regulations.
  • Study current and future needs of the company related to warehouse management.
  • Prepare or assist in the preparation of the department budget.
  • Ensure cleanliness of the facility.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.
