As the Warehouse Manager of Addison Fasteners' distribution center, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of all warehouse and distribution activities. You will lead a team to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders, optimize inventory management, and maintain a high level of operational excellence. This role requires a strong leader with a proven track record in warehouse management, logistics, and team development within a manufacturing or distribution environment.

Oversee all daily operations of the distribution center, including receiving, warehousing, picking, packing, and shipping of finished goods.
Implement and maintain accurate inventory control systems and procedures. Oversee regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation activities, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery of goods. Collaborate with carriers and logistics providers to optimize shipping routes and costs.
Enforce all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse efficiency, order accuracy, and on-time delivery. Analyze performance data and implement strategies for improvement.
Develop and manage the distribution center's budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and resource allocation.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement lean methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Work closely with manufacturing, sales, customer service, and other departments to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Address and resolve any operational issues or challenges that arise in a timely and effective manner.

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in warehouse management or distribution, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role within a manufacturing or fastener industry environment (preferred).
Demonstrated experience implementing and improving warehouse processes and systems.
In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, best practices, and technologies.
Strong understanding of inventory management principles and techniques.
Experience in coordinating inbound and outbound logistics.
Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to implement and enforce safety procedures.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices is a plus.
