About The Position

The Warehouse Manager at East Coast Mechanical, Inc. (ECM) is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receiving, storing, and distribution of materials and equipment. This role involves managing inventory levels, maintaining safety compliance, and leading a team to achieve operational goals within a dynamic and growing company.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years warehouse management experience.
• Knowledge of AC, Plumbing, Appliance, and Electrical parts and equipment is helpful.
• Strong judgment and decision-making ability.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Superior organizational skills and effective time management.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Excellent communication skills with employees and upper management.

• Ability to relocate before starting work.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and administer all aspects of the warehouse operations.
• Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with data storage systems.
• Communicate regularly with distributors, suppliers, employees, and head office to uphold quality and delivery standards.
• Receive and verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Assist in tracking and management of equipment.
• Establish and monitor security procedures and protocols to safeguard warehouse operations and contents.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations (OSHA) and injury reporting.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Schedule and assign employees to complete warehouse operational requirements; follow up on work results.
• Recruit, select, orient, and train warehouse staff.
• Coach, counsel, and discipline employees; plan, monitor, and appraise job results.
