About The Position

Job Summary Responsible for daily operations of employees, equipment, documentation and warehouse operations. Responsible for the safe, accurate and timely selection and loading of all inbound and outbound product. Safety will be a main priority for you and your fellow team members.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma.
  • One to 3 years of general work experience required.
  • One+ year prior warehouse/stocking/forklift experience preferred.
  • Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack or lift product.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment is necessary
  • Ability to demonstrate basic product scanner proficiency effectively with minimal errors and train employees to use it.
  • Strong team player and the ability to get along with co-workers.
  • Good verbal/written communication skills, basic math skills, and ability to read documents in English, such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. You will be required to lift to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the daily flow of the warehouse, schedules, and organizes staff to ensure proper staffing of all shifts.
  • Responsible for all warehouse operations, including receiving, picking and inventory.
  • Check that all trucks are loaded and ready for the delivery day.
  • Check the rotation of stock for close and outdated product in the warehouse.
  • Flex production plans on a shift-by-shift basis, managing through issues to prevent service issues and operational inefficiencies.
  • Ensure operational practices are followed to control inventories.
  • Responsible for moving product or materials in a warehouse environment using power industrial equipment. Load or unload designated trailers and/or route trucks. Build orders as necessary.
  • Operate industrial vehicles and equipment to move, restock and repack product ensuring date code accuracy and proper rotation are maintained.
  • Trains new employees. Make sure Warehouse personnel has proper training and guide them using the warehouse inventory system.
