The Warehouse Manager p lans, direct, or coordinates transportation, storage, or distribution activities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable government laws or regulations. Priorities: Schedule or monitor pickup, delivery or distribution of products or materials. Inspect physical conditions of warehouses, vehicle fleets, or equipment and order maintenance or repairs. Plan, develop or implement warehouse safety and security programs and activities. Review invoices, work orders or demand forecasts to estimate peak delivery periods and to issue work assignments. Supervise the activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing, and shipping products or materials. Train warehouse personnel. Respond to customers' or shippers' questions and complaints regarding storage and distribution services. Confer with branch personnel to coordinate warehouse activities.
