Based in San Jose, CA, PITCO also has distribution centers in Brisbane, Oakland, and Sacramento. Warehouse Manager Overnight Job description: The logistics manager oversees the order selection, merge and distribution processes of dry product as well as temperature sensitive goods. The logistics manager is tasked with planning routes, analyzing budgets, and processing shipments. Requirements

  • 5 Years of proven working experience as a Manager.
  • Record of successful distribution and logistics management.
  • Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical and data analysis abilities.
  • Proficiency with relevant software and technology.
  • Ability to manage budgets and financial planning.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management and industry best practices.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and work under pressure.
  • Proficient in standard logistics software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
  • BS in Business Management, Logistics or Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and managing the order selection, merge and load processes through optimized routing.
  • Directing, optimizing and coordinating full order cycles.
  • Recruiting, training and retaining overnight staff.
  • Planning and regulating labor cost including overtime.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve workflows, boost productivity, and eliminate inefficiencies.
  • Hire, train, and supervise employees, set performance expectations, and provide feedback to develop skills.
  • Oversee operational budgets, control costs, and allocate resources effectively.
  • Ensure products and services meet quality standards and that the company complies with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage inventory, procurement, and supply chain operations to ensure a smooth flow of goods.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze data to make informed decisions and report on operational performance.
  • Work with other departments like finance, marketing, and HR to streamline processes and achieve company-wide objectives.
  • Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions to keep the business running smoothly.
