About The Position

The Warehouse & Inventory Manager (WIM) oversees all warehouse and inventory operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and safety. This role plays a key part in supporting technician productivity and customer satisfaction by ensuring materials and parts are available when needed and handled properly. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations Manage daily warehouse activities including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping petroleum and c-store related parts. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems for efficiency. Coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries, freight pickups, and logistics. Inventory Management Maintain accurate inventory levels using ERP or inventory management systems. Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories on a regular basis. Monitor inventory turnover, usage trends, and reorder points. Manage returns, warranty items, and defective components. Ensure proper storage and handling of hazardous materials. Technician Support Prioritize and fulfill technician part requests in a timely manner. Prepare job kits and stage materials for upcoming work orders. Advise technicians on part availability and suitable substitutions. Coordinate closely with the Service Department to anticipate upcoming needs. Vendor & Procurement Coordination Partner with the purchasing team to forecast material demand. Communicate with vendors regarding availability, backorders, and sourcing options. Support cost-control and inventory optimization initiatives. Leadership & Process Improvement Supervise and support warehouse staff. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols. Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards. QualificationsSkills & Qualifications Required 3+ years of experience in warehouse or inventory management. Working knowledge of petroleum and convenience store equipment parts. Proficiency with ERP or inventory management software. Ability to operate standard warehouse equipment. Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills. Preferred Experience in the petroleum equipment or service industry. Knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations related to hazardous materials. Prior leadership or supervisory experience. OSHA forklift certification. Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50+ lbs. Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods. Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures. Ability to safely operate a sit-down forklift. Additional Responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned to support operational needs and business priorities

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in warehouse or inventory management.
