About The Position

Fenix Group SPC in Minnetonka, MN is seeking to hire a Warehouse Manager to plan, direct, and administer all aspects of our warehouse, including: requisitioning, receiving, storing, stocking, distributing a wide variety of materials and supplies, and ensuring the enforcement of warehouse procedures and practices. This position will manage a team of 8 warehouse personnel. At Fenix Group, our mission is to transform, enhance, and protect surfaces. Requirements

A High School Diploma or GED
3+ years of demonstrated management experience
Work experience in a manufacturing environment
To be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Establishing operational procedures for activities, such as verification of incoming & outgoing shipments, handling and disposing of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current
Conferring with department heads to ensure the coordination of warehouse activities with production, sales, purchasing, and deals with vendors
Screening, hiring, and training warehouse personnel; assigning daily work assignments; and planning for future staffing needs
Compiling, analyzing, and reporting on various aspects of obtaining, maintaining, and distributing inventories
Establishing stocking, storage, and disposition procedures for all warehouse materials
Preparing or reviewing requests for orders, stocking reports, annual contract agreements, and purchase orders
Determining ways to maximize warehouse storage and prevent stocking of seldom used merchandise
Developing procedures for the operation and maintenance of a computerized inventory control system and conducting reviews of inventory data
Inspecting the physical condition of the warehouse and equipment & preparing work orders for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment
