About The Position

Fenix Group SPC in Minnetonka, MN is seeking to hire a Warehouse Manager to plan, direct, and administer all aspects of our warehouse, including: requisitioning, receiving, storing, stocking, distributing a wide variety of materials and supplies, and ensuring the enforcement of warehouse procedures and practices. This position will manage a team of 8 warehouse personnel. At Fenix Group, our mission is to transform, enhance, and protect surfaces. Requirements

  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of demonstrated management experience
  • Work experience in a manufacturing environment
  • To be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Establishing operational procedures for activities, such as verification of incoming & outgoing shipments, handling and disposing of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current
  • Conferring with department heads to ensure the coordination of warehouse activities with production, sales, purchasing, and deals with vendors
  • Screening, hiring, and training warehouse personnel; assigning daily work assignments; and planning for future staffing needs
  • Compiling, analyzing, and reporting on various aspects of obtaining, maintaining, and distributing inventories
  • Establishing stocking, storage, and disposition procedures for all warehouse materials
  • Preparing or reviewing requests for orders, stocking reports, annual contract agreements, and purchase orders
  • Determining ways to maximize warehouse storage and prevent stocking of seldom used merchandise
  • Developing procedures for the operation and maintenance of a computerized inventory control system and conducting reviews of inventory data
  • Inspecting the physical condition of the warehouse and equipment & preparing work orders for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment
