About The Position

F.H. Furr is seeking a skilled Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse team in Fredericksburg, VA. The Warehouse Manager will oversee all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, order fulfillment, and overall organization. The ideal candidate will have experience managing warehouse operations within the HVAC, electrical, and plumbing industries and be proficient in using computer and warehouse management software to improve operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing industries
  • Proficiency in using ServiceTitan’s replenishment features
  • Experience with Ply and ability to approve invoices within the system
  • Strong experience using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • Knowledge of inventory management and control procedures
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and regulations
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and equipment
  • Lead and manage a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback
  • Implement and maintain efficient inventory management systems, including tracking stock and conducting cycle counts to ensure accuracy
  • Utilize ServiceTitan’s replenishment features to maintain optimal stock levels and ensure timely replenishment
  • Maintain an organized and efficient warehouse layout to optimize space utilization
  • Ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment, including picking, packing, and shipping
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols in accordance with national safety and regulatory standards
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve issues
  • Approve invoices and ensure timely and accurate processing of payments
  • Generate and analyze inventory and operational reports to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement
