About The Position

The Warehouse Manager is a hands-on leader responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations in our fulfillment center, including inbound and outbound logistics, inventory control, people management, and specialty project execution. This role ensures efficient, accurate, and safe handling of all goods, while fostering a collaborative, performance-driven team environment. The ideal candidate leads from the floor, communicates effectively across departments, and takes initiative to improve processes and meet production goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years warehouse or logistics experience, including 2+ years in a management role
  • Experience with DTC, B2B, and regulated product (e.g., alcohol) fulfillment strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in WMS/OMS tools such as Shopify, ShipStation, or Linnworks
  • Solid understanding of LTL, parcel dispatch, routing, and cross-docking workflows
  • Strong leadership and team development skills with a hands-on coaching style
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
  • Forklift certified (or willing to obtain)
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs and work extended hours during peak seasons (OND, promotional surges)

Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound and outbound LTL and parcel shipments, ensuring accurate dispatch and documentation
  • Oversee daily pallet loading, shipment staging, and carrier pickups aligned with inventory and compliance standards
  • Maintain and adjust truck routing schedules in coordination with logistics priorities
  • Lead execution of specialty projects in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Conduct daily forklift and equipment inspections, escalating maintenance needs proactively
  • Serve as on-the-floor operational lead to ensure daily output goals are met
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety compliance, and proper material handling practices
  • Ensure SLA adherence on fulfillment timelines, accuracy, and quality standards
  • Liaise with Logistics, Operations, and Client teams to align on schedules, inventory flow, and shipment requirements
  • Maintain real-time documentation of goods movement and system updates for visibility across departments
  • Escalate operational challenges, shipment delays, or product discrepancies proactively
  • Provide feedback to product and systems teams to optimize WMS/OMS workflows (Shopify, ShipStation, Linnworks)
  • Hire, onboard, and train new warehouse associates, supervisors, and seasonal workers
  • Manage scheduling, shift coverage, and time/attendance tracking through HRIS systems
  • Own PTO tracking, payroll submission, and disciplinary documentation
  • Conduct performance reviews, deliver coaching, and manage corrective action plans when needed
  • Drive safety and compliance training, ensuring adherence to OSHA, alcohol handling, and internal SOPs
  • Foster a positive warehouse culture through active leadership, mentorship, and floor presence
