About The Position

M&M Industries is a U.S.-based manufacturer of plastic pails and packaging solutions. We operate a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment where safety, inventory accuracy, and efficient shipping operations are critical to meeting customer expectations. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the warehouse and shipping department. This role coordinates warehouse staff, manages inventory levels, ensures compliance with safety standards and company policies, and oversees shipping schedules and documentation. The Warehouse Manager plays a key role in resolving shipping issues, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and optimizing warehouse efficiency.

Requirements

  • Highly organized with strong analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and make sound decisions
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, including continuous improvement, Gemba walks, 5S+1, and Kaizen
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in warehousing and logistics
  • Forklift certification required
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that may include hot or cold conditions
  • Ability to wear required PPE at all times (safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally

Responsibilities

  • Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with 5S principles
  • Assist in managing warehouse operations and designing warehouse layouts to support efficient material movement, storage, and stock rotation
  • Proactively stage orders to verify packaging, product integrity, and order completeness prior to shipment
  • Resolve shipped order issues using root cause and corrective action methods
  • Participate in Supplier Corrective Action Reports and facilitate process improvement solutions
  • Manage and maintain shipping-related documentation
  • Manage and maintain daily shipping schedules
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory and sample order records
  • Inspect and audit labels, barcodes, and other order features for accuracy and compliance
  • Process outgoing shipments through ERP and Warehouse Management Systems
  • Manage warehouse associates by monitoring workflows and ensuring safe use of warehouse equipment
  • Collaborate with purchasing, inventory control, and other managers to optimize warehouse and shipping processes
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies
  • Support physical inventory preparation, research count discrepancies, and month-end close activities
  • Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with inventory control, other managers, executive leadership, and cross-functional departments
  • Partner with outside vendors to support M&M dedicated drivers for interstate and local shipments
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
