We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead all warehouse, yard, and material-flow operations at our Melrose Park food manufacturing facility. This role oversees inbound raw materials, outbound shipments, inventory accuracy, internal shuttle movements, and operational coordination across multiple functions. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader focused on safety, service, cost, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent experience in Warehouse, Logistics, Operations, or Supply Chain.
  • 3–5+ years of warehouse/distribution leadership in a manufacturing environment (food/CPG preferred).
  • Experience with SAP, WMS, and TMS systems.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with inventory management and transportation coordination.
  • Proven ability to drive change and improve operational KPIs.

Nice To Haves

  • Lean/Six Sigma or CI training.
  • Unionized, multi-shift environment experience.
  • Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily warehouse and yard operations receiving, storage, picking, staging, loading, and transfers.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy using FIFO/FEFO and lot control.
  • Manage inbound/outbound shipments and coordinate transportation and dock operations.
  • Drive safety, food safety, and compliance with OSHA, GMP, and company standards.
  • Lead and develop a multi-shift team of supervisors and associates.
  • Deliver KPIs for inventory accuracy, cost, productivity, safety, and OTIF.
  • Apply continuous improvement tools to optimize processes and reduce waste.
