Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required with a discipline in Management and or Business.
  • Relevant and sufficient experience, knowledge, and training will be considered equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Five years of management experience
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage in a fast pace environment with cross-functional teams
  • General understanding of finance, cost, and accounting principles
  • Proven experience driving teammate engagement
  • Familiarity with engineering systems
  • Experience working in Engineering, Quality, or Materials Management

Responsibilities

  • Directs operations through a team of warehouse personnel.
  • Ensures increasing customer and employee satisfaction levels while improving warehouse efficiency.
  • Provides leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training, and development.
  • Provides leadership for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships.
  • Manages material requirements to increase inventory turns and reduce levels on hand.
  • Ensures compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time delivery.
  • Ensures all employees perform their tasks in a safe manner.
  • Balances work capacity across the warehouse.
  • Determines operations headcount needs and ensures compliance with company policies.
  • Ensures compliance with company needs for capital investments and improvement projects.
  • Manages compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Capable of performing all warehouse positions and being willing to step into different positions as needed.
  • Completes any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor.
