About The Position

The Manager, Warehouse Operations at Cox Automotive is responsible for overseeing parts warehousing and final mile logistics for Fleet Services. This role ensures timely delivery of parts to technicians while managing costs effectively. The manager will work closely with operations to plan and coordinate distribution activities, develop processes for operational efficiency, and maintain high service levels for internal and external customers. The position requires strategic thinking, strong management skills, and a deep understanding of the vehicle parts business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6 years of experience in a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in service advisement, maintenance coordination, or similar roles.
  • 1+ years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Proven ability to deliver high levels of customer service and communication with stakeholders.
  • Strong Excel and data entry skills, with proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.
  • In-depth understanding of Light, Medium, and Heavy-Duty vehicles and parts business.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional follow-through and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience within the automotive industry.
  • Experience with Karmak DMS system.
  • Prior experience in mobile and shop service operations in a Fleet Services environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end warehouse operations to ensure timely delivery of parts.
  • Oversee shipping and receiving processes to facilitate timely deliveries.
  • Develop delivery processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure proper allocation of materials across fulfillment and retail locations.
  • Manage inventory and asset transactions for accurate inventory measurement.
  • Address operational issues related to fulfillment and transportation.
  • Guide and oversee distribution and fulfillment functions to meet customer service expectations.
  • Manage transportation and freight services to reduce delivery costs and enhance customer service.
  • Lead and develop the Fulfillment and Transportation Operations team, setting goals and providing feedback.
  • Integrate supply chain fulfillment into overall business planning and monitoring processes.
  • Contribute to the local Supply Chain Leadership Team to set delivery strategy and business plans.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and OSHA regulations.
