About The Position

The Warehouse Manager will oversee the efficient operation of a warehouse or distribution center, ensuring the timely receipt, storage, and shipment of goods. Key responsibilities include inventory management, order fulfillment, space optimization, and adherence to safety and quality standards while coordinating the activities of warehouse staff, implementing best practices, and utilizing technology to streamline processes and improve productivity. This position will also shadow the General Manager, leading to an overlap in some key duties.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain warehouse organization and internal inventory.
  • Overseeing receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations.
  • Organize and maintain client inventory, new products, and materials returned from the field.
  • Setting up the warehouse layout to guarantee efficient space utilization.
  • Plan work, assign tasks appropriately, and appraise results.
  • Audit and report inventory while making recommendations on which items to order and restock.
  • Review work orders with the Installation Coordinator or General Manager to ensure materials, incoming supplies, and other necessary items are available for installation.
  • Ensure that completed materials are shipped and/or distributed to the correct locations (e.g., staging area, assembly).
  • Ensure products are correctly assembled for maximum efficiency during installations.
  • Review the wrapping and labeling of completed and assembled products.
  • In conjunction with the General Manager, assist in managing the installation schedule.
  • Monitor and maintain the daily task manager.
  • Product pick-up and delivery as needed.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness within the facility.
