About The Position

At Johnson Brothers, we’re a leading wine, spirits, and beer distributor with a proud tradition of service, innovation, and teamwork. We’re looking for a dynamic Warehouse Manager II to lead both our day and night warehouse operations — driving performance, developing people, and ensuring our products move efficiently and safely every day. We’re seeking a proven operations leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments and can drive results through people, process, and performance. This role oversees all aspects of warehouse and distribution operations — leading leaders and teams to achieve best-in-class service, safety, and efficiency. The ideal candidate is a hands-on strategist who brings urgency, accountability, and continuous improvement to everything they lead. As the Warehouse Manager II, you’ll oversee all aspects of warehouse operations — from receiving and inventory management to order fulfillment and distribution. You’ll lead and develop a team of supervisors, leads, clerks, and warehouse associates to achieve operational excellence and deliver exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of warehouse or distribution management experience leading multi-shift teams.
  • Proven ability to coach, develop, and motivate diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — comfortable using data to drive performance.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and MS Office Suite.
  • Understanding of OSHA and DOT regulations.
  • Flexibility to support both day and night operations as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day and night warehouse teams to achieve safety, accuracy, and productivity goals.
  • Foster a positive, high-performance culture built on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage all aspects of warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, replenishment, and outbound shipping.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other applicable regulations.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and use data to drive decisions and process improvements.
  • Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse — ensuring equipment, layout, and safety standards support efficient operations.
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members, creating clear expectations and providing ongoing coaching and feedback.
  • Partner with other departments (Sales, Delivery, and HR) to align operational goals and support company initiatives.
