About The Position

The Warehouse Manager I at HMSHost is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a low-volume warehouse, including managing personnel, purchasing, product receiving, and storage. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required; 2 years of post-high school education preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Inventory Management/Merchandising/Retail experience in low volume or multi-unit operations.
  • 2 years minimum of driving experience with a valid State Driver's License.
  • Excellent time management and project management skills.
  • High level of computer literacy, including expertise in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and converse comfortably with customers.
  • Basic keyboarding skills and ability to perform repetitive motions.
  • Ability to safely lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Experience operating heavy equipment or vehicles.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Food and Beverage operations or related management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares daily scheduling of warehouse personnel based on business needs.
  • Supervises and trains all warehouse associates.
  • Ensures purchases comply with company specifications and are sourced from approved vendors.
  • Oversees the ticketing of all items to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Manages data flow from ordering and receiving forms, ensuring correct entry into the Retail Management System.
  • Resolves routine questions and problems, referring complex issues to higher management.
  • Fosters open communication between the warehouse and other management staff.
