About The Position

CCL is looking for an energetic candidate to fill a Warehouse Supervisor position in Sioux Falls, SD. This position will be responsible for the daily work assignments and supervision of the department employees, coordinating logistical processes, ensuring the quality of goods, and preparing relevant documentation. The Warehouse Supervisor will manage a team of 4-7 employees, effectively leading them to meet business goals, creating and managing schedules, and training team members to ensure job duties are performed efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

  • Must have valid driver license.
  • Must be able to be trained and certified to operate all company vehicles including fork trucks, order pickers, company pickup and box truck, etc.
  • Knowledge of Corporate Policies and Procedures in a Manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced knowledge in the application of sales and use tax rules.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly skilled in math, accounting, and financial processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail oriented and highly organized.
  • Skilled in time management and prioritization.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and other systems as required.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years or more experience in previous leadership roles (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Managing warehouse staff and daily activities.
  • Managing, evaluating and reporting on warehouse productivity.
  • Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials.
  • Ordering supplies and maintaining suitable inventory levels.
  • Checking orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.
  • Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation.
  • Keeping records of shipments tracking, cost and delivery receipts.
  • Working with vendors to secure economical transportation for goods to national and international customers.
  • Picking and checking customer orders before shipment.
  • Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds.
  • Coordinating and maintaining fleets and equipment.
  • Communicating and coordinating with other departments and customers.
  • Receiving product and distributing or labeling and storing after entering into the inventory system.
  • Allocating and issuing material to departments.
  • Tracking and recording of inventory.
  • Cleaning and organizing of the warehouse.
  • Properly completing all documentation required on the computer and by hand to track the job.
  • Properly using computer to enter/retrieve job specific information and complete training documents.
  • Managing various ad-hoc projects as requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.
