About The Position

Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Maintenance Associate in Greenwood, Indiana. This position offers a competitive hourly pay of $25.00, with an additional shift pay of $1.00 and overtime pay at $37.50 per hour. The schedule for this role is the second shift, Monday to Friday, from 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm. Ryder is looking for the right Warehouse Employees to join their team and work with state-of-the-art equipment in a safe warehouse environment, handling products such as electronics and using industrial maintenance items like conveyors and production machinery.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong background in maintenance repair and preventative maintenance programs.
• Good organizational, communication, and planning skills.
• Basic computer and parts inventory system skills.
• Aptitude to investigate and problem-solve various mechanical issues.

Responsibilities

• Complete all routine lubrications, repairs and troubleshooting tasks of mechanical warehouse equipment.
• Assist and monitor all work being performed by outside contractors.
• Maintain inventory controls for cost-effective operations.
• Schedule and complete preventative maintenance procedures.
• Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, city, state and federal guidelines.
• Monitor and maintain grounds and building systems.
• Depending on location, employee may be required to operate equipment and may be required to be equipment certified.
• Special projects and other responsibilities as may be determined.
