About The Position

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
  • Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems is a plus.
  • Experience operating heavy equipment, including lift trucks, is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and OSHA regulations is essential.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload products from trucks and containers using appropriate equipment.
  • Ensure accurate placement of items in designated areas within the warehouse.
  • Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts (Hi-Lo) and order pickers while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space.
  • Assist with inventory management by conducting regular checks and updates in the warehouse management system.
  • Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to OSHA regulations.
  • Support shipping and receiving operations by preparing items for distribution.
