About The Position

The Logistics & Warehouse Support Specialist plays a key role in managing freight activities, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring accurate reporting across the supply chain. This position processes freight and facility-related expenses, maintains essential operational data, and serves as a central point of contact between Customer Service, Sales, carriers, and warehouse leadership. The role also contributes to inventory accuracy, assists with daily warehouse tasks, and provides administrative support to keep the facility well‑supplied and organized.

Requirements

Minimum of a high school education and three years of warehouse related experience in shipping and receiving or customer service position.
Required to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math.
Experience with Microsoft office systems required.
Must be extremely organized and detail-oriented.

Nice To Haves

Preferred experience with a variety of scanning and Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP system.
Preferred experience in communicating with freight carriers and brokers and their websites.
Forklift and cherry picker experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Managing freight and building expense invoices within the ERP system and producing supporting Excel reports
Coordinating shipping quotations and return shipments with carriers and Customer Service
Preparing operational reports such as freight accruals, damage summaries, and outbound tracking
Supporting warehouse functions, including cycle counts, reconciliations, picking, and receiving
Maintaining office supply inventory and purchasing as needed
Acting as a liaison between internal teams and carrier services to resolve logistics requests quickly
Compiling and reporting monthly freight carrier performance metrics
Providing backup support to the Warehouse Lead and assisting the Supply Chain Manager as required
