The Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all warehouse and logistics activities across multiple sites (two locations). This role ensures the safe, compliant, and efficient storage, handling, movement, and distribution of raw materials, components, and finished goods. The Supervisor leads warehouse personnel, maintains inventory accuracy, coordinates inbound and outbound logistics, and supports production and customer fulfillment objectives while maintaining compliance with food safety and safety standards.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Supervisory experience in warehouse and logistics operations preferred.
  • Warehouse experience in manufacturing or food production.
  • Ability to operate powered industrial equipment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.
  • Experience with inventory systems (SAGE preferred).
  • Familiarity with SQF and HACCP standards.
  • Ability of adjusting or moving objects of varying weights up to 50 lbs. in all directions.
  • Hear sounds and recognize the difference between them.?
  • Ability to withstand various climates through the facility i.e. freezer, dock, production (as low as -15 degrees up to 110 degrees)?as well as normal warehouse/dock conditions.
  • Ability to work in an environment with flashing lights, horns, and powered moving equipment operating in proximity.?
  • Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
  • Able to see details of objects that are less than a few feet away excellent hand/eye coordination.
  • Adaptability to work in diverse environments and surfaces.
  • Wear Personal Protective Equipment as needed.?
  • Stand and move around the warehouse for a minimum of 8 hours.?

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate warehouse and logistics activities, including receiving, storage, internal material movement, and shipping across two locations.
  • Align warehouse operations, transportation schedules, dock capacity, and freezer space availability with production plans.
  • Ensure safe operation of powered industrial trucks and warehouse equipment.
  • Oversee proper shipping, receiving and storage labeling, FIFO rotation, traceability, and storage practices.
  • Maintain accurate warehouse documentation and audit-ready conditions in compliance with SQF, HACCP, and GMP standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels to support uninterrupted distribution.
  • Oversee accurate receiving, shipping, and system transactions.
  • Lead cycle counts and inventory audits; reconcile discrepancies.
  • Monitor warehouse and freezer capacity and support corrective action plans.
  • Manage shipping and receiving dock schedules and carrier appointments.
  • Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
  • Inspect inbound and outbound shipments for SQF compliance.
  • Escalate logistics disruptions and support resolution efforts.
  • Lead, schedule, and supervise warehouse and logistics associates.
  • Train employees on operations, safety, food safety, and equipment usage.
  • Maintain PIT certifications and support cross-training.
  • Conduct performance coaching and disciplinary actions per HR policy.
