About The Position

ESSENTIAL:  Works with the Store Leaders and PCH Admin to ensure inventory is being turned appropriately.  Works with PCH GM and Inventory Pricing Specialist to develops plans to ensure store locations maintain an obsolescence under 1.5%.  Ensures proper parts destruction process, for obsolete parts, is followed for all store locations. Gathers parts destruction reports from all store locations to provide information to the GM and the PCH Admin Inventory Specialist.  Analyzes inventory at each Store location to determine lines and parts to be included in sales events. Provides quarterly reports to the PCH GM.  Works with the Inventory Pricing Specialist to determine pricing strategies for Aged Inventory at Store locations.  Analyzes Store location inventory to determine Aged and Obsolete Inventory.  Conducts regular cycle inventory counts weekly, provides line reports to Store Leader to review.  Takes part in all annual store parts inventory and periodic inventory events for all store locations.  Trains Store Personnel, as needed, to organizes line code products on the shelves ensuring they are rotated and stocked fully  Maintains proficiency in inventory management and retrieval of parts.  Trains Store Personnel, as needed, to verify that invoice matches items that are being delivered or picked up for the Hilo and Kona store locations as needed.  Safely operates heavy equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks.  Identifies, recommends and assists with solutions to workflow inefficiencies and logistics bottlenecks for all stores with instructions from GM  Works with Inventory Pricing Specialist, Inventory Specialist, and PCH GM to reduce the potential of Aged Inventory.  Completes quarterly “dust-checks” of inventory at all store locations. Compiles reports on findings to be presented to the GM.  Maintains professional appearance and hygiene; Ensure work uniform and name badge always worn.  Completes and remains current with all mandatory manufacturing, safety compliance, safeguards, and cybersecurity training. ADDITIONAL DUTIES:  Assists with Forklift Certification of Warehouse Personnel.  Other duties as assigned by the PCH GM

Requirements

  • Driving is essential to this position. Must have and maintain a current driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
  • Must be able to work retail hours, which might include nights and/or weekends.
  • Basic computer skills
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED): or one to three months related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED): or one to three months related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of retail and wholesale parts and accessories experience.
  • Cash Handling experience required.
  • Experience with Point-of-Sale [POS] System required.
  • Basic computer skills
  • Proficient with Email & Communication
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • Basic Google Suite skills
  • Proficient with Inventory Management Software
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions. and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • An ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to management, customers, clients and employees of the organization.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Driving is essential to the duties, must have and maintain a current valid driver’s license and a clean driving abstract
  • Forklift Certification: Complete and obtain Forklift Certification within three (3) months from the first day of employment.
  • Forklift Instructor Certification: Complete and obtain Forklift Instructor Certification within eight (8) months from first day of employment.
