About The Position

The Warehouse & Logistics Manager at ABB is responsible for planning, directing, and monitoring all warehouse activities to ensure efficient operations. This role involves managing the receipt, storage, picking, and dispatch of products while optimizing resource utilization and controlling the warehouse budget. The position contributes to the Electrification Distribution Solutions division and requires a focus on continuous improvement and lean practices.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in a related area.
• 6 years of equivalent work experience.
• 3 years of experience managing or leading people.
• Demonstrated management of key performance indicators, budget and performance, strategy and implementation.
• Demonstrated data analysis and reporting capabilities.
• Logistics and inventory management and control experience.
• Supplier relationship and supply chain management experience.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or proven track record in leading continuous improvements projects preferred.
• Project management skills to lead small Kaizen projects preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of governance and regulations relating to material storage and logistics preferred.
• Prior experience manufacturing an engineered to order product preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and monitor all activities in the warehouse.
• Develop and manage warehouse operations to control receipt, storage, picking, and dispatch of products.
• Propose and manage the annual warehouse budget.
• Operate within the approved budget and manage warehouse staff activities.
• Improve warehouse operations using lean practices.
• Plan and optimize warehouse utilization and inventory.
• Monitor storage, delivery, and dispatch of orders; oversee stock control and processing orders.
