As an associate, you will work closely with Warehouse and Logistics Manager to ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal by organizing warehouse and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals. Provide accessibility to storage vaults and and support for logistics of trailers, vehicles, storage, and other equipment. Schedule and deliver equipment and vehicles for repair or maintenance. Carry out the workflow, maintain staffing and space requirements, storage layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality, and customer service standards are met. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations. Check inventory levels are maintained and appropriate, letting Manager know when inadequate Assist in training and educating other warehouse employees Maintain a clean and functional warehouse space Deliver vehicles and inventory used at jobsites Follow proper company driving protocol and training Load, unload, and secure loads for transport

Requirements

Valid driver's license
Clean driving record, must be insurable under our policy
Knowledge/training/certifications in both diesel and gas powered vehicles/equipment
General maintenance and repair knowledge
Experience and knowledge in the use of PCs and the ability to learn software applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
Prior knowledge of operations/warehouse management.
Takes direction well
Ability to work alone or with a team
Willingness to tackle new challenges as they arise
Ability to think creatively to solve logistics issues
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with vendors
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
The ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend and lift up to 60 lbs. regularly.
Ability to work outdoors, often with safety equipment and PPEs, often in extreme temperatures
Ability to work in expected general demo or remodeling environments (dust, smoke, mold, water, soot, etc.)
Some may have exposure to blood borne pathogens, loud noise, located in a natural disaster area, or otherwise unsafe environment.
ability to adapt to and prioritize changing needs throughout the workday
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be occasionally required to execute standard physical activities within the facility areas (i.e. stand, walk, sit, use hands/fingers).
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be occasionally required to execute non-standard physical activities within the facility areas (i.e. climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch).
