About The Position

The Warehouse Loading position is critical to ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of goods within a warehouse environment. The primary goal of this role is to safely load and unload products, materials, and equipment, facilitating smooth logistics operations and timely deliveries. This position requires attention to detail to verify shipment contents and maintain proper documentation, contributing to inventory accuracy and operational efficiency. The role also involves collaborating with team members to optimize loading processes and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Ultimately, the Warehouse Loader supports the overall supply chain by ensuring that goods are handled with care and dispatched according to schedule.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely, typically up to 50 pounds or more.
• Basic understanding of warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks with valid certification.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or loading dock environment.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems or warehouse management software.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets using appropriate equipment and manual handling techniques.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, damage, and proper labeling.
• Organize and stack products in designated warehouse locations to maximize space and accessibility.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the loading area to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff and supervisors to coordinate loading schedules and resolve any logistical issues.
