About The Position

The part-time Warehouse Loader position is responsible for assisting in various warehouse activities, including loading, repacking, inventory management, and general maintenance. This is a physically demanding role that involves loading bulk and route trucks, as well as unloading incoming trucks. The individual will use a forklift and electronic pallet jack to build loads based on order sheets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with shipper/receiver documentation. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment is also a key aspect of the role. The position requires the ability to work in various weather conditions and involves repeatedly lifting a high volume of product cases, weighing between 20-45 pounds each, over extended work periods.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds of inventory and/or advertising displays
• English

• Forklift operations a plus
• Experience working in a warehouse environment a plus

Responsibilities

• Loading trucks by selecting designated packages and flavors of products from the warehouse and loading them into the bays of a route truck
• Ensure product is rotated on trucks and in warehouse following expiration dates
• Clean and repackage product as set forth by RBDC standards
• Dispose of damaged or Out of Code (OOC) product once approved by the Operations Manager
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse by disposing of trash nightly, sweeping floors daily and using floor scrubber periodically
