Second Shift Warehouse Pallet Loader Distribution Center Address: 10901 38th St, Kenosha WI Pay: Starting at $25.40 hour (includes a $1.00 2nd shift premium) Work Schedule: Sunday - Friday with Saturday and another day off during the week. 2nd Shift - 5:30 PM until finish (shifts may vary based on work volume) Total Rewards at GFS Affordable benefits plans start day one! You’ll be on your feet for the duration of your shift and you’ll be lifting up to 100 pounds. Our Loaders, loads pallets of products onto trailers according to load diagram or by customer. Requirements

  • Prior industrial vehicle experience is required.
  • You must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed - holidays are very important to our customers!
  • We have frozen products - your ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions is required while you’re here.
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions).
  • Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage and a background check.
  • Prior warehouse experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare pallets for transport by shrink-wrapping and securing them with load bars or straps, then load onto trucks or trailers in the correct sequence per load sheet; hand-stacking when necessary.
  • Inspect trailer interiors for cleanliness, verify pallets are loaded onto the correct truck, and set refrigeration units to the appropriate temperature.
  • Maintain a clean work environment through daily housekeeping, and uphold the company's mission, values, and policies while performing other assigned duties.
